He is the founder and started the company in 1993. He has a vast range of experience in the electrical engineering sector spanning a period in advance of 30 years. He has gained past working experience from Volta River Authority and the Ministry of Energy.
He is the immediate past president of the Association of Ghana Solar Industries. He serves on many advisory and ad hoc boards of the energy sector in Ghana, and a member of the Ghana Institute of Engineers.
He holds an MBA in Finance from Sterling University in Scotland and a first degree in electrical engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
He is responsible for planning of all the company’s technical and construction projects related to grid extension. He joined the company over 10 years ago as a project engineer and is now responsible for ten project engineers that report to him on a daily basis on the progress of our projects.
He is a product of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), where he was awarded a BSc in Project Management.
She joined Wilkins six years ago, but prior to that she had working experience from Ministry of Energy, Ghana. She works in the area of renewables and plans all projects with her team. She manages six project engineers, and together they have completed projects for the private and public sector.
She is a graduate of the University of Ghana Business School and holds an MBA in Project Management from GIMPA.
She joined Wilkins in 2009 following a four-year career with the Internal Revenue Office and a private accounting firm Dekhab Consortium.She is responsible for all accounting related issues with respects to the organization as a whole.
Ms. Amofa is responsible for HR and Administration at Wilkins. She holds a BA degree from the University of Ghana and is a member of the institute of Human Resource Practitioners.
She has used her extensive experience, gained over 9 years, to help managed 79 permanent staff and close to 500 casual labourers on our various projects, since she joined the company in 2011.
She brings a wealth of experience and in-depth knowledge of human and business nature to help forge long-lasting business relationship with our foremen/Independent contractors creating employment in our economy.
She is currently the secretary of the Association of Ghana Industry (AGI) – Electrical Sector.
