SIEMENS ENERGY S.A.S Ghana Awards Wilkins KASOA BSP PROJECT – Construction of new 3×120/145 MVA capacity, 161/34.5kV BSP (Substation)

Wilkins Scope:  INSTALLATION AND ERECTION COMPLETION TESTS

1. GRIDCO. SECTION
    A) 161kV outdoor Gas-Insulated Switchgear (GIS) and associated 34.5kV outdoor air-insulated switchgear.
     B) Cutting/breaking into existing 161kV double circuit (Mallam to  Winneba and Mallam to Cape Coast) lines; bringing these circuits in and out of Kasoa substation, using underground cables from new dead-end  (T-Off) towers.

2. ECG SECTION:
    A) 33kV metal-enclosed switchgear station;
     B) Design, supply, construction, installation, testing, and commissioning of 33kV interconnecting and offloading circuits from 33kV  metal-enclosed switchgear.
    C) Decommissioning of the existing cables connecting the existing ECG switching station with the existing network to allow connection from the new 33kV metal-enclosed switchgear.

3. All earthworks including backfilling, leveling, and compaction of all the areas as per specification.
