The World Day for Safety (WDFS) is an awareness-raising campaign intended to focus international attention on how promoting and creating a safety and health culture can help reduce the number of work-related deaths and injuries. Safety is one of Total’s core values and its importance must be highlighted.
Total Petroleum Ghana Limited (TGPL) celebrated this year’s WDFS and as part of the activities lined up for the celebration, Wilkins Engineering, alongside other representatives were invited by TPGL to participate in a Joint Safety Tour on Wednesday, 21st April 2021 at Barima Service Station in Accra.
Activities embarked on at the site include;
-Safety Green Light
The Contractor on-site (Trinity Links Engineering) demonstrated to the team its Toolbox Talk and Safety Green Light
-TOTAL Golden Rules Survey
Open discussions were had and suggestions were solicited by TPGL for improvement especially with regards to Golden Rules.
Also present at the Joint Safety Tour were representatives from TPGL led by a top management member (Head of Legal), Tino Solutions, and Trinity Links Engineering
